What does the pricing include?

Our pricing includes formula, packaging, and labels (print and application)

What is your turnaround time?

  • Samples: 5 to 10 business days plus shipping time
  • 14-500 units: 21-35 business days plus shipping time
  • 2000 units: 4-8 weeks plus shipping time
  • 2000 - 5000 units: 6-10 weeks plus shipping time
  • For orders over 5,000 units, please allow an additional 2 weeks.

Can I supply my packaging for you to fill?

Yes, you can supply your packaging for orders with 250 + units (per product) and we will fill it for you.

Are there any other fees besides what we pay on the website?

Nope. We dont do hidden fees here!! What you see on our website is what you pay.

Can I get your products in gallons without packaging?

What is your refund/exchange policy?

  • Once an order has been placed it cannot be changed. Please double-check that you have ordered the correct products etc. BEFORE proceeding through the checkout.

  • We do not offer refunds due to a change of mind. In some extenuating circumstances, we may be able to support you, however, a 25% fee will be incurred (covering transaction fees and administration costs). 

  • If products are faulty or damaged, we will replace your items as soon as we can. You have 48 hours to submit damages via email. Must include photos of damage.

Can I purchase products without labels?

Yes, that can be done. Please email us. branding.team@fkprivatelabel.com

How should I price my product?

Pricing is a brand choice. As the manufacturer, we do not provide individual product pricing for the retailer. Although you are selling the same formula, you might be selling to different target audiences.

You should determine what is the best strategy to make the best profit margin.

Our products are high-end, USA-made and should be priced accordingly. Here are some suggestions:

Face & Eye Serums: $35 – $85
Creams & Moisturizers: $40 – $90
Masks & Scrubs: $45 – $90
Cleansers: $30 – $60

What are the requirements for the label?

When it comes to the label or product descriptions, we (FK Private Label or our customers) cannot claim that the product/formula makes a physical change to the skin, hair or body or affects the structure or function of skin, hair or body (this would be a drug claim). We can only claim that it changes the appearance of the skin and that products are for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance (since these are cosmetic claims).

All labels must be printed in English. This is due to ensure label compliance for the USA. We do not comply our labels for other countries or languages.

Additionally, we require a warning label for all products that we package and label in-house. While we strongly recommend including a warning label on your own packaging as well, it’s important to inform customers to perform a patch test and to discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Format Requirements:

If you choose to create your own labels and not use our graphics team, all labels must be submitted via Dropbox links in PDF print format using CMYK. Please provide separate Dropbox links for each label size. For example, if you have four cleanser labels with 5x2 label sizes, those should be in one link, and if you have two moisturizers with 7x2 label sizes, those should be submitted in a second link. We will not make any adjustments to the labels you submit; they will be printed "as is." We have Canva templates available for each product if you decide to design them yourself. Please ensure all labels have a 1/8" print bleed to prevent any text from being cut off.If you have any additional questions or need assistance with the design process, please email us atbranding.team@fkprivatelabel.com.

Body Butters, What happens if it melts?

Our organic body butters contain unrefined butters, organic oils, organic herbs and additional natural ingredients. Many commercial products contain phthalates, DEA, MEA, petroleum based oils to ensure products maintain consistency. Our organic body butters do not contain these. Therefore, our body butters are sensitive to temperature changes and can soften or even melt in hot environments. During transit body butter consistency can change while it's sitting in a warm mail truck or mailbox. We do overnight body butters and requre signatures to help prevent the items from sitting outside. **The quality and healing properties of our products are not affected by melting.**Once you receive your body butter in the mail, do not keep it in direct sunlight for am extended period of time and move it to a location with a temperature under 80°F. If a body butter has softened or melted place it in the refrigerator for an hour. The melting will not affect the quality of body butter, but the whipped consistency will change, it will become more like a body balm. Whipping butters adds tiny air bubbles that increase the size, lightens the density and changes texture, which makes it light and fluffy. If a whipped body butter melts, the air bubbles collapse, so the volume is decreased. So, although the jar was filled to the top when we shipped it, if it melts it will look like less in the container. We ensure the net weight of each product is correct. Therefore we did not put less in the jar, it is just that melting has occurred which lessens the volume.

WHAT WE DO TO REDUCE MELTING 

During hot weather, we do our best to protect products from melting during transit. 

We thoroughly check every product before it is packed for shipping. 

We ship our body butters overnight and require a signature confirmation for delivery.

Our body butters are packaged in bubble mailers to add an extra layer of insulation.  

 

We try our best to reduce melting, but there is no way we can ship products and completely control the high heat temperatures during the summer or in trucks and mailboxes. Additionally, body butters can not be refunded or exchanged if it melts. Thank you for understanding!
